The problem is that the culture has its own version of more, and most men slowly lose sight of the one that actually satisfies. They reach for careers, prestige, distraction, and somewhere along the way, following Christ and practicing the sacraments starts to feel like obligation. The world's version of more has a ceiling, and most men hit it without understanding why they're still not satisfied.
Sacramental Masculinity is a men's experience that names what's actually going on and calls men back to who they are: sons of the Father, formed in the image of his Son, strengthened by the Holy Spirit, and sent into the world to live that out in the service of others. The evening was 100% what men needed. The reminder of the need to lead our families in faith and strength was exactly what many of us needed to hear.
Sacramental Masculinity is a must-have call to action for men who actually want to live for their vocation as husbands and fathers. It is not a cheap self-help seminar — it is a battle plan for the Spiritual Warfare we face every day, rooted in brotherhood and a devoted prayer life.
I used to procrastinate, but now I look forward to the Sacrament — the feeling of being forgiven and clean is truly indescribable. Some of the strongest men in the Bible screwed up, but they repented and went on to do great things for the glory of God. We can too.
The Sacramental Masculinity workshop had a major impact on me. I have now started reading the liturgy before Mass — now I read and hear God’s word and have better focus during Mass. I carried a rosary in my pocket for over 25 years. It was my rock during many difficult times. When you have times of doubt questioning if all this is really making any difference — it is. Keep going.
We are called to serve others instead of seeking our own comfort. Restlessness is within us by design — this is the cross we must carry as men, but it is an awesome responsibility. What makes these events worth coming to is being in a room of men where we can discuss our experiences and challenge each other to continue to seek improvement. These meetings are impactful because it is men only. Praying with someone I didn’t know was challenging for me — but I’m glad to have struggled with it and learned from it.
Attending Sacramental Masculinity solidified what so many men have sensed but rarely heard said aloud: that faith isn’t just a Sunday obligation — it’s a field manual for how to live, lead, and love well, starting with the family. The brotherhood in the room made clear that men are not alone in this hunger for something real and rooted in Christ. There are plenty of men ready to answer the call.
